Welcome to Guide4music. The sole aim of the site is to promote local music by informing our visitors of what music is on in their area.
We provide each musical act and venue with their own web page, which they can update themselves, with the ability to add what gigs they have on. We will then cross-reference the information so that anyone can check to see who is performing, where and when.
We've been vague with our definition of a musical act, we've done this so that it covers everyone, may it be a heavy metal band to a male voice choir, or a DJ / Karaoke to an orchestra. If you provide music, then you are welcome to register.
Its a similar case with the venues, we will make the offer available from a local pub to a stadium, or a casino to a village hall. If you put on music, then you are also welcome to register.
We will then do our best to promote the gig, the venue and the act!

We launched the site in the Swansea area in May 2007 and we hope it will eventually network its way throughout the UK.
